This camera interface connects to the P.C. contact of any camera. The output cable comes not connected to a plug, but a standard 6pin DIN plug is included. As every AV tape deck uses a different pinning, the plug must be connected by the user.

However, the interface can be delivered with the standard mini plug as used for Gebuhr converted AV tape decks (plug type BINDER).

The interface is powerd by the AV tape deck and can remotely control the tape deck; the tape can be paused when the camera is off or paused after a delay of 20 seconds after camera stop. Of course, the remote control can be turned off, too, and the tape will record all the time.

The sync output of the interface is designed to directly feed a sound head, without any amplifier in between. The feeding current is stabilized to provide a constant 0 dB sync track without further gain control during shooting.
