| Digital pulse synchronizer. Master inputs for 1000 Hz tape pulses and digital TTL pulses, control outputs for Bauer T502/T510/T525/T610 modificated projectors and Braun Visacustic projectors. TTL output for frame counting and Elmo GS1200MO projectors. Digital control connector for other slave devices like tape decks or motor viewers. 1000 Hz line output for synchronous backup copies and sound card connection. |

Input signals for syncing: 1000 Hz pulses with line level, 1000 Hz pulses directly from sound head or digital pulses with TTL/CMOS 5V level. Operation modes: "free run": projector is disconnected from the unit and can be used for rewinding, loading etc. "sync lock": projector will only run, when a valid sync signal is present. The projector will start and stop remotely according to the sync signal, while being smoothly regulated to the clock of the sync signal. "record": projector runs without sync regulation. 1000 Hz pulses are recorded to a tape in the clock of the projector frame rate. Pulse ratio selector: Bauer projectors provide 12 pulses per frame, Braun projectors provide 3 pulses per frame and other sync devices provide 1 pulse per frame. This selector lets you set the synchronizer to all of them. "manual" selector: in case you recognize a sync shift during sync projection, maybe due to a defect perforation, you can accelerate or slow down the projector until the audio is in sync again. "reset" button: resets the internal sync shift memory. Should be pressed before starting a new sync process. Should not be pressed when only interrupting a running sync process by stopping the audio. |

open for a lot of connections: power supply with your country specific power adaptor with 8...12 V / 0,5 A output, DC or AC. SYNC IN digital: Any TTL or CMOS 5V compatible sync signal can be connected. TAPE/LINE: input for 1000 Hz signals with line level or direct sound head connection. Recording output when mode selector is in record position. SYNC OUT digital: outputs the master signal as a clean TTL / CMOS 5V compatible signal. Can be used to connect external frame counters or the Elmo GS1200MO projector. PROJECTOR socket: special connection for Bauer StudioClass and Braun Visacustic projectors. Combines pulse input and regulation output. CONTROL: Universal regulation output and pulse input for the connection of tape decks and film editors or customer applications. Provides the 5 regulation levels using open collector outputs. |
